Retracing the pared-down aesthetic of the original Breitling Superocean Slow Motion from the 1960s and 1970s, while adding modern features and a bright palette of colour, the new Breitling Superocean is no longer strictly a dive watch – surf with it, swim with it, hit the beach bar with it.
Aside from looking good, the new Breitling Superocean is also a technical marvel. Sand, shock and salt-water resistant, this model showcases a 44mm bronze case which houses a Breitling Caliber 17 automatic movement. Water resistant to 300m – triple the minimum requirement for diver watches – this Breitling Superocean watch is presented on a brown rubber strap with folding clasp that allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15mm, for easy wear over rashies and dive suits. Also featuring a uni-directional, scratch-proof, ceramic-inlayed bezel that will never wear or fade, this new Breitling Superocean model features a chocolate brown dial with broad hands and indexes which are coated in luminescent Super-LumiNova® which allows for superior readability underwater.
