We aren't shy about our love of DOXA here at Analog:Shift.

In fact, the original inspiration behind Analog:Shift was squarely centered on DOXA! In any flavor, any color, from the classic orange-dialed Professional to the stunning silver-dialed Searambler, we love 'em all.

While perhaps not as well-known as the Blancpain Fifty-Fathoms or the Rolex Submariner, the DOXA SUB series played an integral role in the development of the modern diver's watch. The first generation of the model, introduced in 1967, brought innovations we now take for granted — a unidirectional dive bezel with the U.S. Navy's no-decompression dive timing marks engraved, an expanding bracelet, a brightly colored, high-legibility dial, and an oversized luminous minute hand, to name but a few.

The SUB 1500T is a successor to 1968's SUB 300T Conquistador, one of the first commercially-available divers with a Helium Escape Valve. Boasting a 45mm stainless steel case and 1,500m of water resistance, it's the watch you strap on when you need a serious tool for serious work. Powered by an automatic Swiss movement, it's of course available in all the typical DOXA colorways.

This particular SUB 1500T is the classic, orange-dialed 'Professional.' Measuring 45mm in diameter by 16.25mm tall, it features a unidirectional dive bezel, a signed, screw-down crown, a sapphire crystal, and a brushed and polished multi-link bracelet. Its silver dial has applied luminous indices, an oversized minute hand, a smaller hour hand, an outer printed minute track in black, and a framed date window at 3 o'clock. Opposing wordmarks feature at 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock in typical DOXA SUB fashion.

Equipped with a power reserve of 50 hours and accompanied by its factory goodies, this 'Professional' is the perfect tool for the frequent diver — or the SCUBA-curious!
